Fees

Diocesan school fees are payable for three terms only and accounts will be sent to parents in the first three terms of the school year.

Families with three children already attending Catholic schools will not be charged school fees for their fourth and subsequent children. These reductions apply to children of the same family even if they are attending different parochial, regional or private Catholic schools.

All Diocesan and school-based fees are reviewed annually. The aim is to keep ‘Catholic education’ affordable and accessible to all families whilst maintaining a high level of facilities and learning resources.

The Diocese of Parramatta has a strong commitment to equity and justice and believes that no child should be excluded from our schools where a family experiences genuine financial hardship.

‚ÄčThe per term fee is charged in Terms 1, 2 and 3. It is not charged in Term 4.
No tuition fee is payable for 4th or subsequent children.


Building levy

A school building levy has been set by the Bishop of Parramatta at $783 per family per year for 2018, billed as $261 per term, in Terms 1, 2 and 3.



School-based Fees (additional to Diocesan Fees)


Learning Resource

The learning resource fee for 2017 is $147 per child per year. This fee covers the cost of learning resources used during the year and is billed in Term 1.


Cleaning fee

The cleaning levy helps to cover the cost of cleaning for all the classrooms, library, administration block and toilets. The fee for 2017 is $96 per family, billed as $32 per term, in Terms 1, 2, & 3.


Activities fee

This is an annual fee billed in three instalments across Terms 1, 2 and 3 in 2017 as follows:

This is a single payment per child which combines grade excursions and a number of smaller payments into one general activities payment. Activities such as Life Education, Book Week Author Visit, Primary Swimming Carnival and Musica Viva are combined into one easy payment. This is much more convenient for parents and makes our school accounting processes much easier.

This is not an additional cost to families, just a more efficient way of doing things! Our major overnight excursions for Years 5 and 6 will be billed separately.


Swimming program fee

Students in Kindergarten to Year 4 participate in a ‘Learn to Swim’ program in Term 4 each year. All students are required to attend and payments are included in the Activities Fee.



Payment options

Payments can be made at the school office by cash, cheque, EFTPOS, BPay, in person or over the phone. Payments can also be sent to the office via the class message bags. A receipt will be sent home within a couple of days. Payment envelopes are provided for the payment of excursions and school fees. All money should be in sealed envelopes and clearly marked with child’s name, class, amount and details of payment.

Where necessary, payment arrangements can also be set up.



Annual Diocesan Temporary Residents Education Fee

The Diocesan Education Fee Temporary Residents (DEFTR) for 2018 is $1,935 per student, payable in three equal instalments of $645 in terms one, two and three.

The fee applies to new students on the following Visa numbers: 173, 401, 402, 411, 415, 416, 417, 418, 419, 420, 421, 422, 423, 426, 427, 428, 442, 457, 459, 476, 485, 497, 580, 600, 601, 651, 675, 676, 679, 685, 884, 944, 956, 976 and 977 including where any of these are the preceding visas for families on bridging visas 010 to 090.

Families charged this fee in 2013 will continue to be charged on a per family basis to the eldest student whilst the family has continuous current students.



School Fee Management

A term's notice in writing (10 school weeks) must be given to the Principal before the removal of a student from the school, otherwise a full term's fees will be payable.



Scholarship fund

A scholarship fund has been established to provide scholarships to eligible students. Catholic systemic school scholarships will be granted equitably based on need and merit.
